About Us

In 2005, the Fort Erie Arts Council (FEAC) was formed by a small group of local artists and community members as a not for profit charitable organization.

The Fort Erie Arts Council's vision is to encourage diverse artistic endeavours in the Fort Erie community to enrich the lives of its residents. We are committed to the development of a rich and sustainable environment for the arts and culture in the Municipality of Greater Fort Erie and to further develop a strong and thriving creative spirit through the arts as the heart of the community life.

Year after year we have organized successful artist run events surrounding the hallmark fundraiser, Red Ribbon Art Exhibition, the council sought a location to call home.

Our first home was at 238 Ridge Rd., N, where we operated a small store front Gallery and office space. Due to the sale of this property, we relocated in 2010 across the street at The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts.

The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts offered us a great opportunity and space to run an art boutique as well as members exhibit space until the Fall of 2013.

After years of seeking a new permanent home, in May 2018, we were able to announce that the Fort Erie Arts Council had a new official home in a storefront at 246 Ridge Road N., downtown Ridgeway, Ontario.

We continue to host large events at various locations, including local venues: The Sanctuary Centre for the Arts and the Fort Erie Leisureplex.

We have been able to expand our offerings providing so much more arts and culture to our community.

We have many new ventures that we have planned, will you join us?
